FLATBED TRUCKING IN THE SOUTH FOR OVER 35 YEARS

Old South Freight Service Incorporated began in 1980 as a small flatbed trucking company that

has grown greatly over the years. We are family owned and operated and understand the importance

of family. Our goal is to reach new customers as well as to continue to have a quality relationship

with our current customers.

We operate mainly in the Eastern half of the United States—from Chicago to Louisiana and from

the Mississippi river to the East coast, with our main office located near Nashville, Tennessee.

We are made up of 90% Owner Operators, who are the backbone of our company. Old South Freight Service, Inc. drivers are continually tested each day on their driving, safety and customer service skills.

We keep our drivers up to date on the latest in safety training and procedures. Most of our drivers are home every weekend and sometimes throughout the week. We strive to provide our drivers with long term careers and financial stability.

Our main priority is to meet the needs of our Customers, Agents and our Drivers.

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 23 years old

• Must have at least 2 years Verifiable experience driving

• Must have 2 years flatbed experience hauling Steel Coils

• No careless, wreckless or DUI charges in the past 5 years

• Must have acceptable MVR, PSP score and Pass a Criminal background check (and annual reviews)

• Complete Application

• Pass Drug screen (and random drug and alcohol screenings after hire)

• Verification of previous employment

YOUR EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Tractor and Trailer must pass DOT Inspection

• Be Clean and in respectable working condition with all required equipment and supplies

(straps, chains, etc...) in perfect working order

• Re-inspected every 6 months
